Smoke BBQ

Located on 72 Charles Street, Sheffield, Smoke BBQ is home to a delicious open grill restaurant, serving a variety of barbeque and grilled foods.

From their chicken burger topped with streaky bacon, pico de gallo and guacamole for £11, to their brisket plate with burnt ends, brisket hash, which is spiced and rubbed, then smoked for up to 18 hours for £19, they have something for everyone. Along with this they have a range of sides stretching from mac and cheese to crispy onion strings, to Texan toast, the menu feels never ending.

They have a wide range of meats consisting of pork, beef, and chicken, and they also include options for vegetarians. With such a mix of foods and availability for different people Smoke BBQ is a must visit restaurant.

Not only do they have this loaded menu of foods they also sell a vast range of drinks, including beers and brews, soft drinks, wine, milkshakes, and cocktails, so whatever you’re in the mood for they will most likely have it. Food and drink alike a both reasonably priced with an average of £9 for a cocktail, £6 for a glass of wine, £10 for a burger, and £20 to £25 for a steak, for such a bustling restraint you can't really complain.

Upon arriving at the restaurant me and my family were kindly welcomed by the staff and taken to our seats. The service and communication between the waiters and chefs was good and all in all it was a great experience to eat there. After ordering our food and drinks we waited mere minutes before our drinks arrived and they were shortly followed by our food which I had zero complaints about as it tasted wonderful.

I ordered the chicken burger and was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered, it tasted great, with the tang of the guacamole combined with the saltiness of the bacon I really couldn’t fault it; their portion sizes were great but unfortunately I couldn’t finish mine.

All of us that dined at the restaurant left feeling pleasantly stuffed and recommending to everyone we knew. So if you are ever in the area do take a walk in, sit down and order whatever you like because I can say that you will not regret it. With the good food, excellent service, and rustic atmosphere it is an experience I will suggest to anyone who is a fan of a classic barbeque.
