The Camden markets are one of London’s notorious destinations. With a range of things to offer for all types of peoples.
What to expect?
There are food stalls all around Camden, with amazing restaurants to try. What do you fancy? Asian cuisines of Indian, Thai, Chinese and Japanese, or fancy some Italian style pastas or pizza with a range of choices of desserts to fulfil your sweet tooth, well you’re in luck because Camden is home to them all.

Walking through the busy streets of Camden you can see why the markets are loved. With people selling their passions of art, jewellery, crystals, clothing and more. It truly is a magical experience. There are so many things to do, from stuffing you’re face, with what I would say as one of London’s best cuisines, to finding furniture for your house to discovering extremely talented artists.
Camden is full of a range of things to do, from the minute you walk out of Camden Town tube station you are engulfed in a world full of colour, from the street art on the sides of buildings, to the 3D elements coming out the front, to the unique and fashion savvy people walking the streets.
Many visit Camden in their life, including ourselves. With us being in London for the past two months Camden is not a new experience for us but every time we go it's just as good as the time before, though going on a Saturday afternoon was probably not one of our brightest moments. There were floods of people everywhere, so take it from us when you do go to Camden pick your times carefully. If you’re willing to be swallowed by the crowds and are alright in waiting in queues longer than the river Nile, then by all means go on a weekend, but if you’re a bit impatient like us then weekdays in the late afternoon is the prime time for you to go.

An excellent food stall that I can’t recommend enough is Dez Amore, selling a range of pasta and burgers their food is otherworldly. The homemade pasta is the perfect density and texture, the burgers meaty and juicy, and the customer service joyful and welcoming. They have food for vegetarians and vegans too.
We tried the classic cheeseburger with bacon and the carbonara with of course parmesan and both were amazing. The portions were a great size and gave us enough room for dessert. The atmosphere inside the stall was really nice and we ate our food with the delightful smell of the other orders being prepared.
You can find Dez Amore in one of the side streets inside the main market, it's not too hard to find but if you’re struggling to find it, put it in your maps, and it’ll lead the way.
If you’re not looking to spend money, then just walking around Camden is an experience in itself, looking at everything it has to offer is just as good as the food and other shops. There is so much to look at and so hard to get bored. So, take a trip to down to Camden if you have the time because I can promise you won't regret it.
